I promised my seminary students I would have fresh cinnamon rolls the morning they took their assessment test.  So, the day before I whipped up a batch, but  . . . .uh . . . they didn't turn out very well!   I still don't quite what happened, they definitely overflowed into the oven, but they were so super sticky- like not floured together at all.  It was weird!     However, I just kind of smooshed  them together as best as I could and the results weren't terrible.  They were weirdly shaped, but tasty!  One of my students had three, so they couldn't have been disgusting. :)     Just hanging out with my girl at preschool at Marker Miller.  I am one lucky Mom to get to spend my days with her!    Jackson was so excited to get his taekwondo trophy!  They started doing trophies a while ago.  Once they filled up a sticker sheet (they got stickers for going to eno...

First Week of November

Wyatt's last football game was a cold one!  Erik was out of town for the weekend at Boy Scout Training, so it was me and the kids freezing our tails off!                       On Election Day, the kids had school off.  It also coincided with some very excellent warm weather!  Ahh, I'm so jealous of this weather right now as I'm freezing in my heavy sweaters through this cold, windy weather week! I knew this was likely our last big outing to Jim Barnett park, so I let the kids explored all over.  I love this pretty park!     After the park, we went to Greenwood Mill to vote.  I love the kids voting program they do here.  The kids love getting their stickers too, and I love that the kids are learning the importance of voting!

It brought back lots of memories!  And she looooved it! The final result :) She wanted to spin around while I took pictures.     We went over to the Neal's house to carve pumpkins.  That was a great way to do it! I may invite families to carve next year. Couldn't get Wyatt to smile for the camera, not surprisingly!  Being silly for pictures is pretty much my kids' favorite activity! Drew asked that I take his picture as well.   This girl made me laugh with her fangs again.  Especially in such a girly outfit. Melinda Topham very sweetly took Anna to play gro...
