Baseball, Football, and Dance

On Friday evening, the Coles asked if we wanted to join them at BYU's baseball game!  It was so a lot of fun!  Super photogenic kids right there! ;)  The kids were so excited to take a picture with Cosmo  It was announced that if you tweet a selfie to byubaseball you could win some stuff, so of course I did . . .. but we didn't win :(  Saturday morning I came downstair to find the kids playing minecraft of course.  I find it so funny how much Anna loves playing.  Out of all the video games  the kids could play, I like minecraft the best.  I love to hear about the worlds and houses they build!  Not quite sure what Wyatt was doing here, but it made me laugh  Haha these boys crack me up!  Jackson had his last flag football game on Saturday!  This picture was taken by Seth's dad.  Amy texted it to me on Saturday night and I really love it!  Last night was the much antici...

Saturday Jobs and Lots of Pictures of Anna :)

The kids had games on Saturday.  Both Jackson and Anna played really well!  We let Jackson choose lunch after his game and he chose the Sonic here in Herriman.  We had been before in the drive-in lane, but this time we ate inside.  The girl who took my order literally took forever and a day ;) AND she got the order like completely wrong.  It was almost comical really.  Anyway, it was a fun time together.   Erik bought a snazzy new push mower so the kids could start cutting the grass.  He will continue to use the riding mower for the backyard, but thinks Jackson is ready to take on the front.   Wyatt learned a bit too!  It will probably be a while before he starts to mow on his own though.  After all the chores of the day were done we invited the Coles over for a bbq.  It was so fun to hang out with them like always!  Once we started the fire and was ready to do the s'mores we ask...

Last Week

Anna had her dance pictures last Monday and the skies opened up in a major way on the way over!  It was very intense rain and lightning/thunder.  Afterwards, we were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow :) While we were having FHE that evening, I couldn't help but laugh at her crazy lipstick she has been putting on.  Pretty much every hour she is not at church or school, she is trying to put on her bright pink lipstick!  I have tried to persuade her to use a light pink/nude gloss, but she will not have any of that! The next morning Jackson had an orthodontist appointment.   When the orthodontist assistant ran to get something she needed I snapped a picture of Jackson's wireless smile.  It gave him a sneak preview of what his smile will look like without braces . . .  . . . because this was his last appointment before they come off!!  He is super excited. After coming home from working out, while all of the kids were at school I ...

Happy Mother's Day!

I'm not going to lie, I LOVE Mother's Day!  I love the handwritten notes and cards, I love reflecting on the blessing of motherhood, and I love thinking about how I lucky I am to have the Mom that I have!  Wyatt and Anna were the first to give me their homemade creations.  I loved the picture and information about me that Wyatt wrote :)  I loved seeing instagram fill up with posts honoring moms!  I really was feeling full of gratitude for the selfless, amazing mother that raised me and the fantastic mother I gained through marriage!  Both women continue to inspire and shape the person I am!  More fun notes from the kids :)   Anna was the first to wake me on Sunday morning (not too early though- I did get to sleep in!).  She presented me with this bathroom cup she decorate, inside was a watermelon flavored stick of gum.  She was so proud to hand me this present- I loved it!  I loved Erik's handmade ca...
