Second Grade Zoo Trip

Image
Last Thursday, I was able to chaperone Jackson's field trip to the National Zoo in Washington D.C. Erik took a half day of work off and watched Anna and Wyatt (he brought them to work for a few hours). Because there were so many parent chaperones, I only had two kids in my group: Jackson and his good friend Sam!  I was quite relieved when I found that out.  We loaded up in charter buses and made really good time to get to the zoo. We decided to join groups with Hunter and Hunter's Mom (they didn't have any other kids in their group!).  It was fun to get to know her (surprisingly her name is not Jenny.  I swear every Mom I meet shares my name with me.  Curse of an 80s child, I guess :)  The weather was perfect!   Seriously, we couldn't have ordered better zoo weather.  I told Jackson it was my first time visiting a zoo without a stroller since I was a little girl!  It was so much fun to be with Jackson (OK if I'm being ...

Catching Up in June

Wyatt likes to have the double the google protection when swimming :) Last week, Jackson had his running club awards ceremony and breakfast.  It was a lot of fun.  Of course, Anna and Wyatt loved ...

The Last May Pictures
