Fun Meet Ups

Image
A couple of weeks ago, Anna and I met Emily and her daughter Mackenzie at the Curiosity Museum.  It's always fun to catch up with a childhood friend!    Jackson took three week swim lessons with two of his friends.  It was kind of funny because they went into a class he would have done when he was 6, but that's OK.  They had fun in the water together!  Anna must have asked me to take this one haha She was excited about her Easter sandals (which funnily enough she didn't wear on Easter!)  She loved wearing her Doc bow on Saturday.  She had me sit down and watch her do her rainbow twirl dances :)  It was so cute and fun!  This is the only picture of the date Erik and I went on the next weekend.  We saw Race, which was good.  It was quite depressing, but it was very interesting to learn about different parts of Jesse Owens' story that I didn't know (especially about his friendship w...

First Non-Vacation Post

Image
Well my first blog post after vacation-- back to my boring life haha  Although these pics with Anna jumping look pretty fun to me actually!  I have to say coming home to spring weather was very nice for my post-vacay blues I always get.  Spring in Utah is the best!  Of course spring in Utah means two nice days then three horrible snowy, cold days, but eventually the nice days will outweigh the cold ones and then it will be summer! Hooray!  Anna wasted no time getting back to the basics of trampoline and park!  We walked to get the boys from school every day and Anna played at the park while we waited.  I was excited to get some foundation at Dillard's during Clinique bonus time, so I googled where the closest one was to me and drove out to South Town mall .. . except it wasn't a real Dillard's!  It was a weird clearance one that is only open on certain days and they don't carry makeup anyway.  I ...

Last Day at Disney!

Image
Well the time had finally come to pack and go home *sobbing face*  Honestly, I'm not quite sure if I would ever get sick of a Disney vacation.  Erik is definitely not like me, which is probably good so that our vacations will be more well rounded, but if he was I would be planning one of these every year!  Anyway, the kids were excited to see their last gift from Mickey on Monday  morning. With our bags packed and in the trunk, we drove to Magic Kingdom one last time.  We wanted to get there right at rope drop so we could ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train again. There was a HORDE of people on the ferry from the parking lot.  We actually got caught in a mass of people and kept picking the wrong lines, so we weren't that fast.  Ironically enough I told Erik that I would take the boys and get to 7DMT first while he pushed the stroller, thinking I could weave in and out of groups better.  However, because we kept picking the wrong bag check an...
