Sprinkler Fun

Image
We had a couple of really warm days at the beginning of last week (mid 80s and insanely humid), so we dusted off the sprinkler set.  It was so fun to see Jackson and Wyatt having so much fun! Trying to get a shot of one of Anna's gorgeous smiles, didn't quite work :)

Happy Easter

Image
Man, it's getting harder and harder to find time to blog!  Anyway, here's a run down of our Easter Sunday.  More Easters than not it has been just our little family and this year, of course was no exception.  It was really nice though.  The Bishop cancelled all of the meetings before church, so it was really nice having Erik the whole morning.    Handsome Wyatt!  He was loving wearing a tie.  He's worn one before, but this time he was really into it.  As soon as he put it on he started shouting, "I'm a Daddy!" Jackson looking so big and grown up (sigh) love my boys :)  As you can see Anna missed out on our little Easter photo session!  So after her nap, I took her picture in her cute little dress . . . After church the kids came home to their baskets.  Erik was very proud of the Easter bunny's restraint this year.  I was impressed too, and the kids were still just as happy! That candy did not la...

Not a Very Exciting Post

I'm probably the only one that never gets tired of picture after picture of Jackson holding Anna On Friday, the boys and I dyed Easter eggs.  At first I felt bad that Erik wasn't there, but with how busy he is I decided if we didn't just do it they wouldn't get done.  Plus, it gave us something to do for an afternoon :) So I could have both hands, I tried out the sling with Anna.  My sister Kathryn gave me this sling when I had Wyatt, but he was always fussy in it- I didn't get to use it much.  Luckily, Anna seems to like it. Isn't it cute (Anna and the sling!) One convenient thing about having two boys is I can just take their shirts off whenever we do something messy.  You never know what kind of picture Jackson will take! On Friday I'm going to an English tea party for the royal wedding!  Haha, I'm so excited.  A girl in our ward that moved here from England last year is throwing it.  She's assigned everyone a different Englis...

Firefighter to the Rescue!

Image
On Tuesday, I ventured out for the first time with the three kids to playgroup.  It was a field trip to the fire station, and since Wyatt pretends to be a fireman quite often, I knew this would be worth the effort. I don't know if you can see Wyatt at the very right of the picture, but he does not look very happy!  One of the firefighters put on the whole deal (fire suit, oxygen mask, etc)  I guess Wyatt didn't appreciate the firefighter sounding just like Darth Vader, so when they invited the kids to the front to see it all up close, Wyatt was not having it!  I thought he would be OK if I held him, but no. During the tour, the firefighter let the kids sit in the different fire trucks and ambulances.  I guess because the stairs up to the trucks were so tall, he hoisted each kid in and out.  It was so funny when, without fail as he hoisted Jackson, his face turned red and he grunted, "Whoa, you're a big one!"  You'd think by the 3rd or 4th time,...
