Busy Week

Image
On the second day of cub scout camp, I didn't have to go so it was just me, Wyatt, and Anna.  This summer Jackson will "watch" the kids while I do a quick jog, since he wasn't there we had to go to the gym.  The kids aren't the biggest fans of the day care center there, so I had to bribe with a trip to bowling alley to use our free summer bowling coupons. And luckily the Coles came to join us for our summer bowling! I had promised Wyatt that they could ride the bumper cars after bowling, but wouldn't you know that the bumper cars were being worked on while they were there and were not available!  So, I let Anna and Wyatt each play $1 worth of games at the arcade (which was two games by the way!). The next day we met the Hanks at the reservoir.  Seth (who is Jackson's age and will be in Jackson's class this next year, yay!) has a kids kayak, so he and Jackson had a great time going out on it together. Baptism and Scout Camp

Iva's baptism was a couple of Saturdays ago, and it was so nice!  Iva is such a beautiful, sweet girl.  I'm so thankful I am able to get to know her now!   Anna just requests pictures sometimes, and of course I always oblige!   We spent the rest of Saturday with the Hunts and Janet, Robert, and Adelyn (who drove from CA).  Then on Sunday, everyone came over for dinner and the CA folks stayed the night.  Lots of fun family time!   The next day I needed to go to Cub Scout camp.  Look at all of the cub scouts we have in our ward!  This is just the bears and wolves too! Cub scout camp was a lot of fun, but very tiring for me!  I loved being able to hang out with Jackson.                      I was so thankful that Robert and Janet extended their stay an extra day, so they could watch Anna and Wyatt for me!  I know Wyatt and Ann...

The Week

A couple of Sundays ago we had Laryssa (formerly Groll) and her husband over for dinner.  It was so fun seeing her!   Anna had her first ballet camp of the summer.  The theme was "ice princess" and it was pretty cute to see so many little Elsas dancing around.  Anna choose to dress up as Sofia. Erik grabbed my phone the other day to take pictures of the deer.  He also did his second ever instagram featuring the deer haha.  He loves living right here!       For FHE, we made birthday cards for Uncle Peter.  It's so crazy to think we will see him this holiday season!     I was pretty excited when I saw roses on sale at Costco the other day!   Jackson had his last track meet!  Like the end of every sport season, I am happy to see it end and not have that time obligation.  However, I am happy Jackson got to experience doing track.  He says he wants to do it next summe...
