It's a Wonderful Life

Haha I'm realizing that one by-product of Anna being my only one at home is pretty much all pictures are of her and what she does during the day! ;) I remember she was quite insistent on how she wanted to pose for these pictures.  She kept checking them, then doing some more :) I watched two cute kiddos for a friend.  The little boy, Zach, is in Anna's sunbeam class and then his little sister, Ricki is 1 and just as cute and squishy as can be!  She napped most of the time, and I was anxious to play with her when she finally woke up! Anna's room was a WRECK at the end of the day haha That evening was the boys' school's fundraiser.  It was a carnival/color run.  There were a few popular food trucks out, and I had been wanting to try waffle love for a long time so we got in line for that one.  The line was FOREVER!  I was so tempted to just get out, but I persevered and my reward was the most delicious thick, crisp...

Last Friday it was packet pick up day!  They had a fun backdrop to take pictures in front.  Anna running :) These great ladies are why I signed up for this race to being with!  It's been fun running with them. I got these pictures from Amy Hanks.  Jackson was over playing with his friend, Seth.  They always do fun things over there! And then sure enough, dark and early, it was time to run my race!  I got picked up at 4:15am (ouch!).  We drove over to where the buses would drive us up the canyon and then wrapped in our mylar blankets and throw away sweats we waited for the race to begin! It was a super weird beginning.  There was no one on a bullhorn or no starting sound.  All of a sudden we realized that people way ahead had started running and the race was underway haha It was a beautiful course.  This is from the website, " Runners are set to experience an elevation drop of more than 3,00...
