Reunion Time
Last weekend, we were able to take a trip over to Williamsport, PA for the Logue family reunion (Janet's mother's family). Friday evening we drove down and stopped halfway at McDonald's (Oh McDonald's!).
Can't get enough of Anna's cheesy grins!
We finally made it at around 9:00 pm. Wyatt was pretty beat, but Anna rested and chipper from her nap in the car, came down with me and Jackson for a little pool time. Hotel pools are always the most fun!

On Saturday morning I went for a run and found some pretty roads and trails. Do you see the deer in the picture? She was standing right in the middle of the road and just kind of stood there looking at me while I fumbled for my phone to take a picture :)
While Anna napped, Erik took the boys to see his Grammy. Afterwards, we swam some more.
Just-woke-up-face. So sweet.
At 2:00, we went to the reunion. Last year was our first year going, and we were lucky enough to gp with Erik's parents and all of his siblings. This year, without them, I obviously knew considerablly less people, but it was still really nice. It's fun to get to know Erik's extended family, and the piece of land that the reunion is held on each year is just gorgeous.
Look at those bean bag skills! :)
Erik's great Uncle George has a very large collection of John Deere tractors- the boys were loving them!
Love.
I had a hard time convincing Jackson it was better just to take a picture of the snake skin- not bring it home with us.
Wyatt with a stick that "is" a bow? Shocking!
After a delicious dinner and a little program it was time for the greatly anticipated tractor ride.
"It's time for the tractor ride!!"
The ride became a little hot and crowded for tired Anna and Wyatt. Luckily they could crawl on Dad.
On the way back to the hotel, we had to make a Carvel stop and get some yummy ice cream!
Sunday morning, waiting to go to church
. . . except we never made it to church! When we got into the van, we found a dead car with a dead battery. Apparently the DVD player the kids were using got left on and plugged in all night. Fortunately, a jump started battery was just a AAA call away. Unfortunately, we completely missed church and there was no other ward that started after 9:30 until we got into Winchester, and of course, we wouldn't have made it to Winchester for the later wards anyway! Sometimes, all you can do is try! :) Anyway, since we were all dressed up, we drove for a while and stopped at this state park that had a beautiful overlook. We had a little family devotional/testimony meeting (short and sweet of course!)
Pretty view.
I'm very happy with our weekend. I love when we get to places, just the 5 of us. And when we were are going somewhere to connect with other family members, it makes it all the better!
