One Weekend, Three Living Arraignments

So I don't have too much time to blog, but thought I would do a quick update of our moving weekend.  First of all I wanted to post this pic of Wyatt trying to drink the rain that came last week.  It was the first time it's really rained here since we came to Arizona, and it was so weird.  Hot, muggy, rain.
All packed up and ready to go.  Friday was our last night in the apt (hallelujah!)
One last goodbye
To avoid having to pay into the new month, Saturday and Sunday night we stayed in a hotel (it was a lot cheaper surprisingly).  Wyatt was having lots of fun jumping on the bed.
So Monday morning, as I was showering, I felt like the conditioner was making my hair feel really weird.  Well, that's because I dumped a bottle of lotion on my hair . . . FYI, that doesn't work well.
Monday we finally moved in!  I took these pictures after a full day of unpacking and cleaning if you can believe it.  They look really bad, but they give you a taste of our new place, and then when you see the finished (clean) product it will be look much better! :)
Jackson and Wyatt were so excited to see all of their toys again.  Sadly, that room has not been cleaned yet.
I'm pretty sure we are going to repaint Wyatt's room :)
Jackson's room needs new paint too
boxes, boxes everywhere
We did reward ourselves just before dinner with a little pool time
And Erik was so excited to finally discover where the hole in our air mattress was.  He told me he had "been waiting until we had a pool so we could do this"
But I think he just wanted to lay on it :)

There is so much work that needs to be done it's amazing.  As soon as a room starts looking somewhat decent I think of a new list of jobs for that room!  I don't see light at the end of the tunnel yet, but I'm sure it will come soon.

Jenny, I love your kitchen!! It is so beautiful! And I'm completely jealous of your pool! I want to come and swim! When you have time I would love to see the front of the house too. I'm sure you are glad you are finally in a permanent house. Good luck with all of the work ahead of you!

I want your kitchen! If you don't want to paint wyatt's room you could just have a wild girl and leave it the way it is. I can relate to how excited you must be!!! I'm excited for you.
