Happy Anniversary!

So 5 years ago today, Erik and I were married. Don't I look happy in this picture? I was. I knew that this was the first day of a really great chapter in my life. I knew that Erik and I complemented each other so well and would push each other to be better people and enjoy life. We are sooo different, but we seem to make it work despite and because of those differences. I love him so much and couldn't ask for a better husband! Here are just a few reasons why: He works so incredibly hard, both at work and at home. He supports my decisions and goals. He spends quality time with the kids and is almost always willing to give me a break if I need one. He is super friendly and loves to be around people. He is always willing to serve others and will not wait to be asked. He will watch almost any movie I want to watch including musicals. He will eat pretty much anything I cook and not complain. He respects and loves his parents. He can fix just about anything and if he can't he will figure it out until he does. I could seriously go on and on, but the point is I am one lucky woman! :)


P.S. So, this version of 'Till There Was You by the Beatles is one I really like and wanted for our wedding slide show. Erik seemed to like the song too, but it wasn't until much later (after our wedding and after I had played it around the apt a lot) that I found out he hates the song and just wanted to make me happy. Hahaha

Happy Anniversary!! Such a cute picture of you two! It really doesn't seem too long ago, we'd only been married 2 measley weeks ourselves!! Ohh, I miss the good ol' newlywed days when we all lived in Provo!! Hope you guys have a great Anniversary!!

Hey that is such a great picture! You guys are so cute. I still remember the following summer when we all went to the lake and we were both just pretty newly wed! (Brent and I were VERY new)Happy Anniversary!

hahahaha i swear on my life i remember that song from the wedding reception and thinking, "what is this? and erik must have agreed to be nice" thats hilarious. what a nice guy.
i also think its interesting that 5 years ago on the day that picture was taken... i didnt know you nor was i sure how to act around a new girl in the family (sorry..). now, 5 years later, i love you!

jenny - it is so fun to hear you talk about erik...especially since some of those reasons are why we fell in love with him too! I love the memories of that summer. I love it that you two fell in love and got married and have a happy life...and i really love it that you and molly are still the closest of friends, she loves you so much and so do we. We have years of fun memories of you two little girls...(unlike just one summer of erik!)

One Weekend, Three Living Arraignments

So I don't have too much time to blog, but thought I would do a quick update of our moving weekend.  First of all I wanted to post this pic of Wyatt trying to drink the rain that came last week.  It was the first time it's really rained here since we came to Arizona, and it was so weird.  Hot, muggy, rain.  All packed up and ready to go.  Friday was our last night in the apt (hallelujah!) One last goodbye To avoid having to pay into the new month, Saturday and Sunday night we stayed in a hotel (it was a lot cheaper surprisingly).  Wyatt was having lots of fun jumping on the bed. So Monday morning, as I was showering, I felt like the conditioner was making my hair feel really weird.  Well, that's because I dumped a bottle of lotion on my hair . . . 21 Weeks

OK, so I guess the consensus of the man giving me the flowers is creepy to everyone.  I think it's one of those times you had to have been there, because he really didn't seem creepy.  In any event the flowers still look pretty in the kitchen :) Wyatt just cracks me up these days.  I think this is just the funnest age when their personality really shows its true colors.  While we were playing in the backyard I tried to get a video of him using his "worker man voice"  It is the most hilarious thing.  He loves to do things to get me (and especially Erik) to laugh. While I was taking pictures of the boys, I decided I might as well get a shot of the baby tucked away (well not so tucked apparently) at 21 weeks.  I really am feeling so good these days, as long as I get some sleep.  Now that we are back on a normal schedule that's a lot easier to do! Jackson has reached to a new stage as well of keeping himself entertained (without the TV)...

Anna loves being by the fire.  It's actually the only time she doesn't fuss if she's set down.  This girl likes to be held! Our little Sumo wrestler A little dream smile :) We finally found some good bunk beds on Craig's List.  Jackson LOVES sleeping on the top.  I'm still keeping Wyatt in his crib, because he does so well in it.  I see no point in rocking the boat when I have a newborn to give me sleep troubles already.  We'll put Wyatt in bunk bed sometime this summer. Sweet girl.  This is one of my favorite outfits that I ordered for her, because it has my favorite color: yellow :) Jackson always wants to hold her.  Last night we had this sweet conversation: Jackson: "Mom, when are you going to wake up tomorrow morning?" (I've been able to sleep in while my parents have been here) Me: "I don't know Jackson it depends on how much Anna gets up during the night." Jackson: "Oh, I hope she doesn't need to nurse tonight...
