Visiting Winchester

We had such a great time with Erik's family this past week and a half.  Two weeks ago Friday the fun began, with Paul and Danielle, and Erin, James, and Jadie flying in from SLC.  Friday evening we went to Chipotle and Saturday did some letterboxing (which I'm totally wanting to start now!)

We first went to a Civil War battlefield to find the first letter box.  Jackson was pretty excited to be going on a "treasure hunt."

We then went to the state arboretum to find some more.  There was a little concert going on that Wyatt was immediately drawn to.  He looooves music; it was cute how transfixed he was!

In front of a slave house.  Weird to be surrounded by so much sad history, huh?

Sometimes I forget how pretty my surroundings are
Saturday night Kelsey, Jeremy, Adelyn, Bailey, Camia, and Robert and Janet, and Peter came in.  The boys were so excited to have some more cousins to play with (and bath with).  Oh do you see the red on Jackson's upper lip?  Sunday evening we went on a walk and Jackson face planted it from his bike onto the curb.  It was really sad, but luckily it's almost all healed now.
